A community fishing and recreation space in Merrigum.

Nestled on the site of Merrigum’s former Water Treatment Plant, Dunyak Moira is a free community fishing and recreation space created from two unused Goulburn Valley Water storage lagoons.

Developed through a partnership between Goulburn Valley Water and the Burnanga Indigenous Fishing Club, Dunyak Moira (meaning “fishing lake” in Yorta Yorta language) celebrates connection to nature, culture and community.
